India gained her independence in 1947 with sacrifices of numerous revolutionaries and the suffering of partition. The 562 princely states united to form the present day India. With the drafting of the constitution to becoming a nuclear power, the country has come a long way.

With the start of 21st century, new economies are slowly giving stiff competition to the Developed World. Nations such as India, China and Brazil that were once considered Third-World countries have showed the world that they are capable of advancements not only in the Financial aspects, but also in the fields of Science, Defence and Technology. It is heartening to see that the nation of which I’m a proud citizen is the Second fastest growing economy.

But there are even bigger milestones that need to be achieved. There are many issues on the Social and Political front which need to be addressed if we wish to become a World Guru, A Super Power, which doesn’t dictate its terms on its military might, but a one which ensures a quality life not only to its citizens, but also to the poorest of the nations. Be it the issues concerning Women Empowerment, Caste & Religion, or Farmer upliftment, my blog is an attempt to take my reader’s attention on them.

Since, we rely on our political parties to usher us into the list of developed nations, we need to keep a check on them too. The parties such as the BJP, Congress, AAP, TMC, AIADMK, SP, RJD, JDU and many more are struggling hard to meet the aspirations of over a billion Indians. Through my blog, I wish to focus my reader’s attention on the need of a good political system and how it can shape our nation’s present and future.
